Rain Bird 3504-PC-SAM 4" Pop-up Rotor with SAM Check Valve

The Rain Bird 3504-PC-SAM is a reliable 4" pop-up rotor designed for short to mid-range residential and commercial irrigation. It combines Rain Curtain nozzle performance with a water-lubricated gear-drive and optional Seal-A-Matic (SAM) check valve to prevent low-point drainage and erosion.

• Adjustable arc: 40–360° top-adjustable sector for part- or full-circle coverage (factory preset 180°).
• Pop-up & exposed size: 4 in. pop-up height (10.2 cm) with a 1.16 in. exposed diameter for low-profile installation.
• Inlet & connection: 1/2" female bottom-threaded inlet (NPT) for easy retrofit and standard plumbing compatibility.
• Seal-A-Matic (SAM) check valve: Built-in SAM option holds up to ~2.1 m (7 ft) elevation to prevent unwanted drainage and pooling.
• Performance range: 4.6–10.7 m (15–35 ft) radius depending on nozzle choice; pressure range ~1.7–3.8 bar (25–55 psi).
• Nozzles & adjustments: Supplied with a 6-nozzle tree (Rain Curtain™ nozzles) for uniform distribution; radius reduction screw allows up to ~25% reduction without nozzle change.
• Durability & service: Water-lubricated gears, self-adjusting stator, dual-action wiper seal and removable filter for long-term, low-maintenance operation.

This rotor is ideal for turf, landscaped beds and mixed-plant areas where uniform coverage and anti-drain protection are needed.
