Hunter MWS-FR Mini Weather Station with Wind, Rain & Freeze Sensors

The Hunter MWS-FR Mini-Weather Station combines wind, rain and freeze sensors into a single compact unit that protects irrigation systems from unnecessary watering or frost damage. The unit connects with two wires to the controller’s sensor input and automatically overrides irrigation when any sensor triggers, then restores operation when conditions improve.

• All-in-one sensing: Built-in Wind-Clik, Mini-Clik and Freeze-Clik sensors monitor wind, rainfall and near-freezing temperatures.
• Reliable electrical rating: 24 VAC switch rating, 5 A maximum for safe integration with most controllers.
• Adjustable wind settings: Wind actuation and reset adjustable (approx. 13–38 km/h) with a 13 cm wind vane for accurate wind detection.
• Adjustable rain shutoff: Rain shutdown adjustable from about 3 mm to 19 mm of rainfall for flexible site tuning.
• Freeze protection: Automatically shuts off irrigation at approximately 3°C (about 37°F) to prevent freeze damage.
• Simple mounting and wiring: Slip-fits over 55 mm (2″) PVC pipe or mounts to 1 cm conduit with included adapter; includes two-conductor, UL-rated wire for installation.
