Rain Bird ARV050 1/2 in. Air Relief Valve for Dripline Installations

Compact, corrosion-resistant air relief valve engineered for subsurface dripline installations. The Rain Bird ARV050 prevents air locks and back-siphon, improving system reliability and protecting drip emitters during start-up and shutdown cycles.

• Use with Rain Bird XF Series or inline emitter drip tubing when installation is below soil; recommended for subsurface drip applications.
• Compact design fits inside SEB 7XB emitter boxes; maximum installed height approximately 1.7 inches for concealed placement.
• 1/2 in. MPT threaded connection provides easy, secure installation with standard threaded fittings and adapters.
• Constructed from corrosion-resistant materials to withstand buried environments and reduce long-term maintenance needs.
• Appropriate for systems up to 6.5 GPM (approx. 390 GPH); allows controlled air release at start-up and prevents vacuum siphon at shutdown.

Install the ARV050 at the high point of the drip zone and pair with recommended XFS dripline and Copper Shield™ when burying lines. Flush the zone during commissioning and inspect the valve periodically for debris or wear. Designed for reliable, low-profile protection of subsurface drip systems.
