Toro EVO-WS Wireless ET Weather Sensor for Evolution Controllers

Designed for the Toro EVOLUTION® Series Controller, the EVO-WS wireless ET weather sensor continuously monitors on-site sunlight, temperature and rainfall to automatically adjust irrigation runtimes. When paired with a Smart Connect™ receiver (sold separately) the sensor sends real-time environmental data so the controller waters only what the landscape needs — helping reduce waste and maintain healthier plants.

• Real-time ET-based adjustments: Measures solar radiation and temperature to estimate evapotranspiration and adjust zone run times automatically.
• Rain, temperature and sunlight sensing: Detects rainfall, current temperature and light levels to prevent unnecessary watering.
• Wireless communication: Transmits data to the EVOLUTION controller via Smart Connect receiver; typical RF line-of-sight range up to 1,000' (305 m).
• Simple power and installation: Operates on a 9V alkaline battery (included) with straightforward mounting and setup; consult the manual for pairing and SD-card instructions.
• Durable outdoor design: Compact, UV-resistant housing and operating range suitable for typical landscape conditions (approx. 14°–140°F / -10°–60°C).

Includes the official EVO-WS installation and user manual for step-by-step setup, menu navigation and troubleshooting. Ideal as an add-on to EVOLUTION controllers to improve watering efficiency and simplify seasonal irrigation changes. Smart Connect receiver (EVO-SC) is required for wireless pairing and is sold separately.
