Backflow Prevention Devices

A Backflow Prevention Device, often in the form of a valve assembly or similar device, is used to protect water supplies from being contaminated or polluted by back-flowing liquid. In water supply systems, water is normally maintained at a significant pressure to enable water to flow, to avoid back-siphonage.
