Rain Bird RWS-M Mini Root Watering System, 18in with 4in Grate

Rain Bird RWS-M Mini Root Watering System provides targeted underground irrigation for trees and shrubs. Designed for tidy installation and long-term performance, the RWS-M places water, oxygen, and nutrients directly at the root zone to improve establishment, reduce surface runoff, and supplement surface watering.

• 1/2" FPT inlet: Accepts standard 1/2" female pipe thread connections; compatible with drip tubing or separate bubbler devices. Spiral barb elbow and bubbler nozzle are not included.
• 4 in. round grate: Durable grate and collar create a clean surface finish and protect the canister while allowing flow to the root zone.
• Integrated drip clip: Grate collar includes a clip for 1/4 in. (0.6 cm) drip tubing for a neat, secure connection at grade.
• 18 in. canister depth: RWS-M installs to 18 in. (45.7 cm) to bypass compacted soil layers and deliver water directly to the root ball.
• Root-zone delivery: Directs water to the root ball and adjacent soil, improving water-use efficiency and supplementing top-down soaking.
• Use with emitters: Intended for use with water-dispensing devices such as bubbler heads or drip emitters; select emitters based on plant size and soil conditions.
