The Rain Bird ESP-LXD is a commercial 2-wire decoder controller engineered for large irrigation systems. Built for reliability and faster troubleshooting, it ships with Flow Smart flow-management software preinstalled and supports local programming in English or Spanish.

  • 50-station capacity standard, expandable to 200 stations with optional ESPLXD-SM75 expansion modules.
  • Flow Smart flow-management: supports up to five flow sensors, SEEF/SELF and adjustable seek functions to detect and manage unusual flow events.
  • Two-wire path runs up to 2.5 miles (4 km); compatible with Rain Bird FD-series decoders and LSP-1 line surge protectors to protect the path.
  • Station timing 0 min–12 hrs, four independent programs (ABCD), 8 start times per program, Cycle+Soak™ and Contractor Default Program™ features to optimize watering schedules.
  • Electrical: 120 VAC ±10%, 60 Hz; lithium coin-cell backup maintains time and date while nonvolatile memory stores the schedule; supports up to eight simultaneous solenoid operations.
  • Durable, UV-resistant plastic wall-mount case; optional metal or stainless steel enclosures and pedestals are available to suit installation requirements.
