The Rain Bird XCZ-100 Wide-Flow Commercial Control Zone Kit is an all-in-one solution that combines on/off control, filtration and pressure regulation in a compact, ready-to-install assembly. Designed for commercial irrigation, it reduces installation time and leak points while protecting downstream emitters and valves.

  • Included components: 1 in. ball valve, 1 in. PESB (scrubber) valve, and a 1 in. Quick-Check pressure-regulating basket filter set to 40 psi.
  • Performance range: Operating flow 0.3–20.0 gpm (1.13–75.7 l/min); inlet pressure 15–150 psi; regulated pressure 40 psi (≈2.7–2.8 bar); temperature rating up to 150°F (66°C).
  • Filtration & maintenance: Stainless steel 200 mesh (≈75 µm) screen with visual Quick-Check indicator that changes from green to red to signal cleaning; threaded cap allows fast removal and cleaning; replacement screens available.
  • Design benefits: Combines pressure regulation and filtration into a smaller footprint than previous units, minimizes joints and potential leak points, and includes a proven PESB valve for improved performance in dirty water conditions.

XCZ kits are compatible with standard commercial irrigation piping and valve boxes. For flows below 5 gpm, Rain Bird recommends upstream filtration to prevent debris buildup beneath the diaphragm.
