Sprinkler Sprays

Spray Head sprinklers are a type of sprinkler where water is thrown evenly across the watered area at all times and are most often used in small lawn and grass areas as well as landscape beds. The spray pattern is fixed and does not move during watering. Fixed spray heads are available in a variety of fixed spray patterns which include 45 degree, 90 degree, 180 degree, 360 degree and many more variable arc patterns. Spray heads generally have a higher precipitation rate and water application rate when compared to sprinkler rotors and stream rotary sprinklers. With this in mind, spray sprinklers use a lot of water and it is always a good idea to soak/cycle spray head zones to maximize the spray infiltration rate. Lawn spray heads usually emit over 1 inch per hour.
