Rain Bird XACZ-075-PRF Low Flow Control Zone Kit combines a 3/4" low-flow anti-siphon valve with a 3/4" 30 psi PR RBY pressure-regulating filter to deliver reliable on/off control, pressure regulation, and filtration for drip and low-flow irrigation systems. The two-piece design reduces potential leak points and simplifies installation and service for residential and light commercial zones.

  • Includes: 3/4" Low Flow Anti-Siphon Valve and 3/4" PR RBY pressure-regulating filter for integrated control and filtration.
  • Operating flow: 0.20–5.0 GPM (0.8–18.9 L/min), ideal for low-flow drip and micro-irrigation zones.
  • Inlet pressure: 20–150 psi (1.4–10.3 bar); regulator set to 30 psi (2.1 bar) for stable downstream pressure.
  • Filtration: 200-mesh (75 micron) stainless steel screen; replacement screen model RBY-200SSMX available.
  • Dimensions & connections: 14" overall height with 3/4" NPT inlet/outlet for standard plumbing connections.
  • Installation notes: Install the filter downstream of any valve; add a check valve if emission points exceed 5 ft above the kit. Do not install under constant pressure to avoid warranty issues.

Maintenance is simple: remove and clean the stainless screen during routine checks and replace it when worn. The PR regulator includes a permeable relief dot to shed excess pressure; this helps protect downstream emitters. Compatible with common 24 VAC irrigation controllers and proven for low-flow zones where consistent pressure and reliable filtration are required.

Frequently Asked Questions

What flow range does this control zone kit support?
The kit operates from 0.20 to 5.0 GPM (0.8–18.9 L/min), suitable for low-flow drip and micro-irrigation zones.
How often should I clean or replace the filter screen?
Inspect and clean the 200-mesh stainless screen during seasonal maintenance; replace the RBY-200SSMX screen when damaged or clogged.
Can this kit be installed above ground or indoors?
Yes; install the filter downstream of any valve and add a check valve if emitters are over 5 ft above the kit to prevent drainage.
What inlet pressure and regulated pressure does it require?
Acceptable inlet pressure is 20–150 psi (1.4–10.3 bar); the PR regulator provides a 30 psi (2.1 bar) downstream pressure.
