The DIG S-305DC is a low-power, DC magnetic latching solenoid designed for battery-operated irrigation controllers and solar systems. Encapsulated and watertight, it provides reliable two-way, normally closed operation across a 6–12 VDC range and installs easily with one of seven adapter options to retrofit most major valve brands.

  • Broad compatibility: Fits most brand-name valves when paired with one of seven interchangeable adapters; replaces conventional solenoids for DC systems.
  • Weather-resistant construction: Potted, sealed housing made from glass-reinforced nylon for corrosion resistance and outdoor durability.
  • Wiring and polarity: Two 18" (45 cm) color-coded UL-1015 AWG 16 lead wires (red and white) for straightforward installation and clear polarity.
  • Standard thread & compact size: 11/16"-12 UN solenoid thread; diameter 1.225" (3.1 cm) and overall length 2.5" (6.35 cm) without adapter.
