The SubStation™ is the ideal solution for irrigation contractors tackling retrofits or complex sites. It wirelessly connects to the BaseStation 3200 Controller, allowing you to manage multiple controllers as one—no need for costly wiring over long distances. Perfect for adding zones across obstacles like driveways or parking lots.

Requires a Baseline 3200 Controller.

Technical Specifications:

  • Zone Capacity: Supports up to 100 zones with a mix of two-wire and conventional wiring.
  • Master Valves and Pump Starts: Includes normally open or normally closed options in the zone count.
  • Sensor Compatibility: Supports up to 20 biSensor soil moisture sensors, 3 flow sensors/meters, and 3 temperature sensors.
  • Pause/Event Devices: Accommodates up to 3 normally closed or open devices for program start, stop, or pause control.
  • Two-Wire Support: Fully compatible with Baseline’s documented two-wire run lengths. Refer to Baseline’s Two-Wire Technical Specifications for details.
  • Networking and Monitoring: Features a user-friendly interface for network setup and displays device and BaseStation 3200 status

Communication Options:

  • Ethernet: Each SubStation includes a built-in Ethernet port for direct connectivity without extra hardware.
  • Wi-Fi Modules: Compatible with Baseline’s Wi-Fi communication module for wireless connectivity.
  • Ethernet Radio Modules: Supports Baseline’s Ethernet Radio modules for extended-range communication. Each configuration requires at least one gateway radio (BL-ER-C) and allows for a repeater if necessary.
