Irritrol RFS1000 is a wireless rain and freeze sensor kit that prevents irrigation during rainfall or freezing conditions. Designed for residential and commercial controllers, it combines a compact transmitter with a weather-resistant receiver for reliable, low-maintenance operation.

  • Wireless transmitter and receiver kit — up to 300' line-of-sight range; recommended installation within 100' for best performance.
  • Adjustable rainfall sensitivity from 1/8" to 3/4" (3mm to 19mm) so you choose when watering pauses.
  • Integrated freeze detection (activates at approximately 41°F / 5°C) to help prevent vegetation damage and icing.
  • Two CR2032 3V batteries in transmitter (typical 5-year life); receiver powered by 22–28 VAC/VDC from controller.
  • Smart Bypass™ button, signal and status indicators, and memory protection for simple monitoring and troubleshooting.
