Durable NDS D6 6-inch round Duracast™ ductile iron grate designed to protect 6-inch drainage lines and Spee-D® catch basins. Built for long-term outdoor use, the D6 combines high load capacity with a debris-blocking profile to keep surface water flowing and piping clear.
- Material & finish: Duracast™ ductile iron with a protective black finish applied for shipping and storage.
- Fits: Connects directly to 6" Spee-D® catch basins, 6" sewer and drain pipes, and single-wall corrugated pipe for a soil-tight fit.
- Load rating: H-20 rated—suitable for light vehicular and pedestrian traffic in driveways, plazas, and parking areas.
- Dimensions: Top diameter approx. 8-1/16", height 2-7/8", grate openings 5/8" (approximate nominal dimensions).
- Performance: Open surface area ~7.0 sq. in.; flow rate ~22 GPM to handle typical runoff from landscaped and paved surfaces.
