HMIP200SE PVC SCH 80 Molded-In-Place Ball Valve, 2" Slip
HMIP200SE is a SCH 80 molded-in-place (MIP) PVC ball valve engineered for reliable shutoff and long service in irrigation, pool, and plumbing systems. The heavy-duty thermoplastic construction absorbs shock and misalignment stress at the body rather than the ball and seat, reducing uneven wear and leakage.
- Construction: Type 1, Grade 1 PVC body and PVC ball with zinc-plated steel bolt and ABS cap/handle for rugged, maintenance-free use.
- Sealing & Trim: EPDM stem O‑ring and EPDM seat (SE model) with PTFE seat option available for enhanced chemical resistance.
- Pressure & Standards: Rated 150 PSI working pressure at 73°F (non-shock). Meets ASTM 2467 and is third-party certified to NSF/ANSI 372; manufactured in an ISO-certified facility.
- End Type & Installation: Slip (socket/solvent-weld) ends for SCH 80 PVC piping—designed for solvent-weld installation to standard PVC practices.
- Handle & Operation: Red ABS handle actuator provides positive 2‑position control; compact, maintenance-free design.
- Packaging & Dimensions: Individually cartoned for protection. Typical overall dimensions approximately 5.74" L x 3.59" W x 5.27" H.
This valve is optimized for irrigation and general plumbing where a durable, solvent-weld PVC SCH 80 shutoff is required. The molded-in-place body design and choice of EPDM or PTFE sealing materials deliver chemical resistance and long service life. For applications outside normal temperature or pressure ranges, consult system specifications or a qualified technician before installation.
