Compact and durable, the Rain Bird 2045-PJ Maxi-Bird Adjustable Impact Rotor delivers precise, adjustable coverage for medium to large irrigation zones. Engineered for reliable performance with reclaimed or clean water, the Maxi-Bird combines a Delrin™ plastic body and precision PJ nozzle to reduce side-spray and keep water on target.

  • Connection: 1/2" male MNPT inlet—easy thread-in installation.
  • Operating range: 25–60 psi (1.7–4.1 bar) for consistent performance across common irrigation pressures.
  • Flow & efficiency: 1.5–8.4 GPM (0.34–1.91 m3/h); five matched-precipitation nozzles plus two low-angle (LA) options.
  • Radius & coverage: Adjustable radius from 22–45 ft (6.7–13.7 m); part- or full-circle operation (FP trip allows 20°–340° adjustment).
  • Construction: Body, arm, bearing sleeve and nipple molded in durable Delrin™ plastic for long life and smooth operation.
  • Compatibility note: DOES NOT WORK WITH MAXI PAW HEADS; uses Rain Bird bayonet, color-coded nozzles (08 = blue).
